The heat generated by the rapid exothermic reaction and the high insulating power of the residual solid crust considerably delay the solidification of the free surfaces of the feed head, leaving them exposed for a long time to the favourable effect of the feeding of the castings at atmospheric pressure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option:<\/strong><br \/>\nApplication of a thin layer of Exothermic Powder to the free surface of the feed heads of sand-cast castings considerably improves the feed heads\u2019 efficiency and thus feeding of the castings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notes:<\/strong><br \/>\nBags of 25 kg.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Exothermic covering powder for feed heads of any diameter for sand-cast aluminium alloy castings.
