Characteristics:
Thanks to the combination of boron nitride and titanium dioxide, Plastcote 26 forms an insulating film that facilitates casting of the metal: Plastcote 26 is able to control cooling and aid the transfer of the metal into the mould, by means of its excellent lubricating and release properties.
The coating is abrasion-resistant, adheres to the mould well and withstands temperatures up to 1100°C, protecting moulds from wear.
