Characteristics:
Low density filters are designed for filtration of aluminium and its alloys up to a temperature of 850 °. Suitable in particular for gravity, sand and shell casting.
Filters have a uniform ceramic structure.
The structure optimise filtering capacity and pouring. Their chemical composition, with adhesion forces inside the ceramic material of the filter, is ideal for trapping Al2O3 inclusions.
Mould filling can be optimised by selecting the correct filter porosity.

Porosity: from 10 ppi up to 50 ppi
Size:
Square: from 30 mm x 30 mm up to 150 mm x 150 mm
Round: from 40mm up to 100mm
