Characteristics:
Bonderite L-CA CG-515 is a water-based primer coating which consolidates the refractory lining applied afterwards, ensuring that the refractory lining adheres perfectly to the mould surface and helping to extend the mould’s lifetime.
If correctly applied, BONDERITE L-CA CG-515 leaves the mould surface in optimal condition for the application of other insulating linings. As a primer, BONDERITE L-CA CG-515 behaves as a neutral lining and therefore its effects in terms of the thermal conductivity and surface finish of the castings is negligible and it does not modify the characteristics of the refractory lining applied afterwards in any way.
